Barista Training

Our Barista Training courses are tailored to your specific needs; whether you want to make better coffee at home, your office (your family and co-workers will thank you!) or to prepare to work at any coffee shop or restaurant. 

The courses are very hands-on, using our state of the art equipment: our La Marzocco espresso machine and our Mazzer Luigi grinders.

We offer barista training levels 1 - 2 - 3 as well as ‘Coffee Consulting’ if you are considering adding a coffee menu to your existing menu or opening a new place.

Level 1: The perfect shot

We introduce you to all the basics of coffee: origins, types, grinds, and methods of preparation including: drip, french press, aeropress, chemex, pour over and espresso. 

Cost: $350 + hst

 

Level 2: The perfect milk 

You will learn the proper techniques to create the milk you need to perfect each drink (latte, cappuccino, machiato and more).

Cost: $450 + hst

 

Level 3: Equipment Maintenance

Learn how to take care of the equipment you work with every day to make sure it works efficiently, and lasts a long time while making the best coffee.

Cost: $550 + hst

Each course is 9 hours of hands-on training during 3 separate afternoon sessions to allow you to digest all the information and come back with questions.  

You will receive a certificate of completion after each course.
